Photo Competitions

The Games Committee are delighted to announce that there will be again a photographic competition held at the Games this year.  All entries to be sent  to Chairman@drumtochtyhighlandgames.com

The four categories will be as follows:

Best Photo of Competitors,

Best Photo of Crowd Stalls etc.,

Funniest Photo,

Best Overall Photo.

The committee reserve the right to publish any or all of the entries on the Drumtochty Website.

The competition will be judged at the Auchenblae Art Exhibition in September 2011 by the Arts Festival Committee and their decision will be final.

The Committee of the  Auchenblae Art Exhibition has made the following judgement for all entries in the 2009 Photo Competition:

Winner of best picture of Dancers:
Andy Thompson  (1) 

Winner of best picture of Athletes:
Andy Thompson  (10) 

Winner of Overall best picture:
Mark Hughes  (8) 

Sallyanne Morrison writes: The standard was excellent, and it was a really hard job coming up with four winners. Congratulations goes to all entrants

I am sure you will join me in thanking the Arts Committee for their work and congratulate the prize winners. I am sorry there are only 4 prizes because I think there are many more fantastic pictures. Thanks to every one who made the effort to enter the competition.

Each winner rewarded with a bottle of Fettercairn 1824 whisky.
